The Wedding

Three hours of photographic services includes formal portraiture, details of the event environment, and intimate images of the special couple. The service will be documented so that the emotion of the day will stay with you long after the honeymoon. Six rolls of film, or up to 216 proofs, will be delivered to you if film is desired. Alternatively, digital files on a photo CD accompany your proofs are available. Two 8 X 10 enlargements are included.

The Wedding and Reception

Six hours includes the reception and an opportunity to have candid images of most of your friends and family. Depending on the progress of the event, most of the traditional activities will be covered as well as portraits of the couple with guests. Ten rolls of film, as many as 360 images, have customarily been sufficient for most events. Digital photography makes more images are available and will also be stored onto a photo CD. This package includes four 8 X 10s and one 11 X 14 print.

The Deluxe Wedding and Reception

This package includes up to ten hours of photography to capture the most complete array of images possible. No activities will be missed or rushed, within reason, and everyone can relax. Couples will be able to relive everything they enjoyed or missed with up to 500 images from 14 rolls of film. A greater number of digital files will be delivered on Photo CDs with their proofs. Six 8 X 10s and two 11 X 14s will also be included.

Engagement Portrait Session

We will create romantic announcement photographs in the photographer’s studio and adjoining garden. Two rolls of film or digital files will equal up to 70 proofs.

The traditional style of the Renaissance Art Leather Wedding Album will be a keepsake for generations. While other styles are available, this book is a perennial favorite. I will collaborate with you to make an album that you will love. This 12 x 14-inch book includes up to twenty-four pages with your photographs displayed in the arrangement, which reflects your taste.

A smaller version of the above item, This 5 x 7-inch book will have the same high quality, hand-made attention. With up to fourteen pages, others will have the pleasure of looking back to your day.

All custom prints are available in many styles of mounting and framing with an additional fee.

Photographic Services Overview

As a free-lance photographer I am able to create images that communicate your message clearly. As one can see by the breadth of my work presented here, my experiences have satisfied a large range of client needs. Every job is a new opportunity for myself to use the visual language and tools I have practiced with and for the client to have a fresh visual voice with which to speak. My general rate is one hundred and sixty dollars for the first hour and one hundred and twenty for subsequent hours of work on any one day. Other expenses and services, including use of images will affect the final bid. Bill Smythe Photography retains the copyrights to all images, while clients are granted usage for personal display or targeted promotion. Every job is tailored to the needs of the client; therefore a discussion is necessary to determine how my services may best suit your needs. I look forward to hearing from you.

Vivid archival photographic prints are available with museum board mats and other archival mounting materials to assure a long life for the work. Although all sizes may not be listed, many custom variations of sizes, mat combinations, and frames are available.
