Effective visual communication between an artist or a producer of goods and their market is highly important for success. If those images fail to capture the essence of the work, your opportunity could be lost if your work is being considered against other in the marketplace. Gallery owners, art directors, club management, and the general public may fail to see the intrigue of ones work with the barrage of artists competing for the attention of those same art buyers.

My approach is to first to understand who the desired audience is. I then create a controlled environment in the studio or location with electronic strobe lights, baffles, and shadows to achieve a dramatic effect. I can create images that convey the three dimensionality of a subject, which is quite often lost in the printing medium, as well as emphasize particular details.
